Memorial Tree Planting

Memorial Tree Planting

When someone close to us passes away, there are many emotions to process. During this difficult time, finding a way to memorialize your loved one or commemorating a past event may help. Memory tree planting is a beautiful way to create a living memorial to last generations. Creative Cremation Solutions understands these feelings, and wants to make sure that you have a way and a place to visit your loved one when you are missing them the most.

Memory Tree Planting is a Beautiful Way to Commemorate the Life of your Loved One

With each cremation at Creative Cremation Solutions, a living-tribute memorial tree is planted in the honour and memory of your loved one. This tree will become part of our Memorial Forest, a beautiful outdoor green space located in the Island Lake Conservation Area on the outskirts of Orangeville. We welcome you to visit the Memorial Forest at any time and enjoy the peaceful, natural beauty. The Memorial Forest Trail contains a 1.9km loop trail, located near the main entrance of the Conservation area.

The purpose of memorial tree planting in Caledon and Orangeville is to give you the opportunity to commemorate and memorialize the life of your loved one in a special way. Creative Cremation Solutions started the memorial forest to assist those in grief and to help with the severe depletion of our forests. The memorial trees planted provide more than just beauty, they also provide many environmental benefits, including shade shelter and habitat for wildlife, erosion control and air purification.

Plant a Memory Tree for your Loved One Today!

Once a memorial tree has been planted in the name of your loved one you can visit our website and look up their name by year - we keep records of all trees planted in our forest. Of course, you can also visit the forest anytime, and enjoy a nice walk through the forest of memorial trees in the beautiful Island Lake Conservation Area.

A tree will be planted in our Memorial Forest for each cremation we perform.

Tree planting is not the only way to pay tribute to your loved one in our memorial forest. We also have a Memorial Leaf of Life program, a partnership with the Credit Valley Conservation foundation, which allows you to purchase a leaf, engraved with your loved one’s name, on our cedar wall in the Memorial Forest. Choose from a sugar maple or oak leave in red, gold, orange or yellow to personalize your memorial leaf.

If the your loved one enjoyed birds, you could choose to have a bluebird house added to the forest, attributed to your loved one with an engraved plaque stating their name - another beautiful way to pay tribute to their life.
